I specialise in taking small groups and individuals rock climbing, ice climbing, alpine mountaineering, off piste skiing and ski touring on tailor-made holidays.

 I am an internationally qualified mountain guide, and a member of the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations IFMGA. The IFMGA sets the highest standards for the national Mountain Guide associations to comply with. Individual guides are members of their national associations and by default members of the IFMGA after finishing their guide training.
I am involved with the training of mountain guides for the British Mountain Guides  and the Kyrgyz Mountain Guide Association. I am a member of the British Mountain Guides (BMG) , Kyrgyz Mountain Guides (KMGA) and more recently the Swiss Mountain Guides Association (SMGA and ARGM).

I have been climbing for over 30 years and guiding for 20 years I have climbed and guided extensively in Britain and the European Alps as well as going further a field to climb and guide in places such as Russia, Kirgizstan, Nepal, India, Pakistan, North America, and Alaska.

I am based in Leysin, Switzerland which is an excellent place to start your alpine holiday being centrally situated between Chamonix (Mont Blanc), the Bernese Oberland, Swiss Valais (Arolla, Zermatt, Saas etc.) and Gran Paradiso (Aosta). Leysin has some fantastic off piste skiing in the winter and great rock climbing in the summer It is very easy to get away from the crowds.
Leysin also has a very good train connections with Geneva, Zurich and Paris
